Born Almaty, Kazakhstan, Aisultan Seitov developed a passion for filmmaking early in life. His dedication to the craft took him to the US where he began working with the rap group Migos. This opportunity led him to work with other high-profile artists such as Kanye West, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, and Offset. His video for "A Lot" by 21 Savage featuring J. Cole was included in Rolling Stone's list of the 150 Greatest Hip-Hop Videos of all time. In addition to music videos, Aisultan has directed commercials for major brands including Nike, Saint Laurent, BMW, and Sprite.

Aisultan’s work is heavily influenced by the rich cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, often incorporating themes of family and tradition into his visually striking narratives. At 23 years old, he directed his debut feature film, "Qas," a historical drama set during the 1930s Soviet-era famine and genocide in Kazakhstan. The film received critical acclaim and won the Best Director Award at the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival.

In addition to his creative achievements, Aisultan founded Qara Studios, which hosts directors from around the world to teach a new generation of Kazakh filmmakers. Aisultan's success on the global stage serves as an inspiration, demonstrating that talent from Kazakhstan can achieve international acclaim.
