Leigh Powis spent the first years of his life living in a small mountain town in Chamonix, France, before settling in Vancouver, Canada where he began his first career as a professional skier (with the scars to prove it.) It was during this time that Leigh began award-winning action sports films which quickly led to directing campaigns for brands such as Hoka, Gatorade, Puma, Oakley and NFL all eager for his special touch and execution.
Leigh’s infectious energy, passionate pursuit of putting everything on screen and his dry humor leave a lasting impression for those who have had the pleasure of collaborating with him. With a keen eye for action and a background in post-production, Leigh's signature approach pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling. His recent project, Puma’s global brand campaign "Forever Faster," stands as a testament to his innovative spirit. This ambitious undertaking, spanning 8 countries and featuring 13 athletes including football luminaries Jack Grealish, Luis Suarez, and Neymar Jr., showcases Leigh's ability to capture the essence of athleticism and dynamism on screen.
His fresh signature approach to each campaign has garnered Leigh numerous awards, including multiple Golds at The Clios and Ciclope.
